Legal Secretary | Planning Department | D4 | 45-50K
My client is seeking a Full Time Legal Secretary to join their planning team. The successful candidate should have previous planning experience from a firm and the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide comprehensive administrative support including document drafting, diary management, and general legal administration (scanning, printing, photocopying);
2. Manage the end-to-end file lifecycle using the firm's legal case management system;
3. Prepare materials and information for internal and external meetings;
4. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to understand and respond to their requirements;
5. Maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information;
6. Ensure accuracy and speed in document production, coordinating with document specialists when required;
7. Manage travel arrangements and detailed itineraries;
8. Process time records and expense reports; and
9. Greet and liaise with clients and business visitors in a professional manner.
Candidate Profile
10. 3 to 5+ years experience working as a legal secretary;
11. Experience managing a portfolio of senior stakeholders within the legal field;
12. MS Office skills are essential;
13. Meticulous attention to detail;
14. Ability to work in the strictest level of confidentiality;
15. Superb communication skills in both verbal and written format;
16. Time management skills that allow you to coordinate multiple competing tasks;
17. A solution focused mind-set and working style; and
18. A positive, can-do approach to work, even in challenging situations.
