This Role
The Fire Alarm Engineer will work with as part of the Service Team. This position is responsible for the maintenance on all types of life safety systems covered under contract, problem-solving, conducting effective fault finding & ensuring compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Perform regular maintenance on all types of life safety systems covered under contract.
* Utilise problem-solving skills to trace issues and conduct effective fault finding.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, specifically I.S. 3218 and I.S. 3217.
* Complete all necessary documentation related to maintenance works accurately and promptly.
* Liaise with customers to understand and fulfil their requirements.
* Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
* Work collaboratively as part of our service team.
* Participate in the on-call rota to address service needs efficiently.
Essential Criteria
* Possess a full, clean Irish driver's license.
* Demonstrate a self-starting attitude and the ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Fluent in verbal and written English.
* Capability to work both individually and as part of a team.
* Prior experience in the Fire Alarm industry is an advantage but not required as training will be provided.
* Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities
Desirable Criteria
* Knowledge of I.S. 3218 and I.S. 3217 standards.
