What They Are Looking For The business is seeking an experienced Commercial Managerto lead the commercial function across major M&E project portfolios in Ireland.
The role sits at a senior level within the organisation and reports directly to the Commercial Director, working closely with project directors, operations, and executive leadership.
This appointment has been driven by sustained growth and the award of multiple large-scale, technically demanding projects.
The Commercial Manager will take ownership of commercial strategy, governance, and performance across live projects, while also contributing to future work planning and risk positioning.
This role will suit a commercially astute leader who is confident managing high-value subcontract packages, capable of operating at both a strategic and hands-on level, and comfortable engaging with clients, consultants, and internal leadership.

Responsibilities Lead commercial management across major M&E project portfolios Own commercial strategy, governance, and reporting for high-value packages Oversee cost control, forecasting, and cash flow management Manage CVRs, variations, and change control processes Lead contract administration, including negotiation and final accounts Identify, manage, and mitigate commercial risk and opportunity Support procurement strategy and subcontractor commercial negotiations Build and develop high-performing commercial teams Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships Provide accurate commercial reporting to senior leadership Criteria for the Role10+ years' experience in commercial management within M&E or specialist subcontracting Proven experience managing large-scale, high-value construction packages Strong knowledge of contract forms and commercial risk management Demonstrated leadership and team development capability Excellent stakeholder and client-facing skills Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar Strong commercial judgement and decision-making ability What's On Offer The role offers asalary of up to €120,000, pluscar allowanceand a strong overall benefits package.
