Senior Java Software Engineer - Contracting role
Stelfox is looking for a talented Senior Java Software Engineer for one of our clients based in Dublin. The ideal candidate must have strong experience with Hadoop.
Competitive daily rate
Hybrid, with three days on-site and two days remote each week
Key responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver web-based Java solutions aligned with business goals.
* Ensure software meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
* Participate in refining user stories and translating them into technical tasks.
* Design, code, and implement robust and scalable solutions.
* Build and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
* Become proficient in development and testing best practices.
* Contribute to building best-in-class risk management solutions.
Skills required:
* Comprehensive knowledge of Java
* Solid experience in Hadoop
* Experience building web applications and APIs using Java frameworks such as Spring
* Experience working in an Agile development environment
* Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
