Job Title: Learning and Development Expert
We are seeking a highly experienced Learning and Development Expert to lead our training programmes.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have 35 years of experience in a similar Learning and Development role within a manufacturing or production environment. Ideally, they will have experience in a highly regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and deliver training programmes tailored to various roles within Operations.
* Ensure all training activities are fully compliant with Health and safety, quality, and operational standards.
* Build training capability across the business through coaching, train-the-trainer programmes, and best practice sharing.
* Maintain accurate training records to meet audit, regulatory, and internal requirements.
* Partner with managers to identify current and future training needs aligned with operational objectives.
* Support business-critical projects, including onboarding, process improvement, and site initiatives.
* Foster a culture of continuous learning, safety, and professional development across the site.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 35 years of experience in a Learning and Development role in a manufacturing or production environment.
* Experience in a highly regulated production setting.
* Strong understanding of compliance with health and safety, quality, and operational training standards.
* Proven ability to communicate effectively across all organisational levels.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple training priorities simultaneously.
