Stores & Procurement Assistant @ The Spencer Hotel
As part of the MHL Hotel Collection, The 4* Spencer Hotel is located overlooking the River Liffey in the heart of Dublin's financial district. We are now looking to recruit an experienced Stores Assistant to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
* Receive all deliveries and ensure they are delivered to the right areas and stored correctly.
* Communicate effectively with the hotel management team in relation to deliveries and procedures.
* Manage invoices and purchase orders in line with hotel procedures.
* Issue weekly Procure Wizard food and beverage flash reports.
* Assist with stock‑oriented reporting/analysis.
* Assist with F&B stocktakes as needed and on weekends if required from time to time.
* Keep delivery areas clean and keep all beverage storerooms clean.
* Provide data analysis and administrative support to support the procurement manager / purchasing projects.
* Document supplier metrics, pricing analysis, monthly/quarterly reporting of KPIs, savings reporting.
* Provide analytical support to the accounting team.
* Provide periodic and ad hoc reports to management.
Qualifications
* Previous procurement and deliveries experience in a busy and diverse environment.
* Proven ability to self‑manage and work efficiently.
* Willingness to learn and develop the career further.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Eligibility to work full‑time in Ireland (visa status will be verified before the interview process).
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
* Previous experience with procurement software is desirable.
