Be part of the transformation The Opportunity We now seeking Senior Project Analysts to join our Infrastructure team in Connection Projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a customer focussed, resilient and motivated individual who is interested in working with the Connection Projects team to deliver key infrastructure projects for some of the biggest companies in the world. These customers are critical to Ireland from many aspects including the achievement of our renewable targets and to continuation of sustainable economic growth for the country. The role involves the provision of data analysis and insights on the project delivery of technically complex, large scale infrastructure projects. The role holder will work as a part of team of data analysts on projects across their entire life cycle – from project initiation, through construction and commissioning and right up to project close. The Team The Infrastructure Onshore Office is responsible for new 400 kV, 220 kV and 110 kV station and circuit projects as well as upgrading and refurbishment projects on the existing network. Managing these projects from conceptual phase, through feasibility, statutory planning assessment and consent to handover for detailed design and construction phase. The Connection Projects function is responsible for the delivery of electricity generation, demand, and interconnection customer connections to the transmission system. This includes the delivery of transmission works for power generation and demand customer connections at distribution voltage levels. The team deliver key infrastructure projects for some of the biggest companies in the world. These customers are critical to Ireland from many aspects including the achievement of our renewable targets and to continuation of sustainable economic growth for the country. About youSuccessful candidates will have:BSc Degree in Data Science or equivalent qualifications.5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on Power BI solutions.Experience with Python + SQL data modelling, building views and dataflows including creating DIM/Facts tables.Deep understanding of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query.Experience in data visualisation and data modelling.Proficient in operating within both Agile and traditional Waterfall methodologies.Strong interpersonal + presentation skills and the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams + stakeholdersUnderstanding of data security and compliance standards, especially if working with sensitive or regulated data.Proficiency in SQL and database querying and familiarity with ETL processes and tools.If you believe you have the skills and experience relevant for this position, please upload your CV and a cover letter (in one document).
