About the Role: The successful candidate will be involved in the design, implementation, release, and documentation of our build service. You will work closely with fellow developers to determine software build and integration needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Determine software build and integration needs
* Advise and support product engineering developers on solving build system and workflow issues
* Identify and evaluate tools and solutions needed to address areas for improvement in the software development lifecycle
* Build new features and functionality for the build system at the request of key stakeholders
Required Skills:
* 3+ years of experience with a BS/BE in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
* Good understanding of object-oriented programming and experience with at least one language such as Java, Groovy, C#, Python
* Exposure to relational databases like SQL Server (MySQL, Oracle)
* Development tools like JIRA and Git
* Supply chain management processes and how they apply to the software development lifecycle
* Cloud technologies, especially AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
