Job description
On behalf of our client in the Construction sector, we are looking for a Setting Out Engineer to join their team.
Role and responsibilities:
* Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
* Monitoring and Interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client/ architect
* Liaising with consultants/ subcontractors/ supervisors/ planners/ quantity surveyors etc
* Liaising with clients and their representatives, including attending regular meetings to keep them informed
* Planning work and efficiently organizing site facilities in order to meet agreed timelines
* Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
* Setting out, levelling and surveying the site
* Overseeing Quality Control and the implementation of the company H&S policy on site
* Preparing reports as required
Minimum Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience
* Relevant Degree
* Strong written communication abilities and an attention to detail
* Confident and experienced in the use of Microsoft Office; Project and PowerPoint
* Have the ability to work on own initiative
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €55,000.00-€75,000.00 per year
