Job Title
The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the design, build-out, testing, and handover of various mechanical, electrical, and process upgrade projects at wastewater treatment facilities.
About the Role
* Manage and coordinate a team of engineers, safety personnel, and M&E installation specialists
* Represent project interests at client meetings and participate in and document project coordination meetings
* Develop and encourage innovation and initiative to all matters related to Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment (HSQE)
Key Responsibilities
1. Management, supervision, and coordination of site activities
2. Development and implementation of project plans and schedules
3. Procurement and expediting of materials and equipment
4. Project cost review and reporting
5. Research and suggestion of options on construction methods, means, and equipment
6. Project closeout including handover of completed safety files
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Mechanical Engineering or Environmental Engineering disciplines
* Proficiency in PC skills, including MS Office and Project software
* Strong engineering, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Collaborative skills with ability to work effectively in a team environment
