Allcare supports the pharmacies by providing back office services to allow pharmacists to focus on their core skill of providing expert medical care, advice, and value to their patients and customers.Purpose of Role:To deliver excellent customer service and to provide advice and information as required to customers on all product ranges available in the Pharmacy. To maintain the standard of category management and merchandising within the Pharmacy as directed by the Managing Pharmacist and in line with Company standards.Duties and Responsibilities:Provide product information and advice to customers across all product ranges, consulting with the Managing Pharmacist as appropriate.Maintain good stock control, including stock rotation, maintaining appropriate stock levels, using correct suppliers, and ensuring delivery details are correct as set by the Managing Pharmacist.Deliver professional and efficient customer service at all times, enhancing relationships with pharmacy customers.Work effectively as part of the Pharmacy team, being flexible and adaptable, assisting in all areas of the Pharmacy operation as required by the Managing Pharmacist.Maintain cooperative and professional relationships with colleagues.Fulfilling requests for specific over-the-counter medicines using WWHAM questioning and recommending suitable medicines, referring to the Pharmacist when appropriate.Adhere to security procedures and handle cash and receipts properly within the Pharmacy.Keep the Pharmacy clean and tidy, promptly reporting any Health and Safety issues to the Pharmacy Manager.Participate in training and development programs provided by the Pharmacy and proactively develop the job role.Perform any other duties as required.TeamworkSupport other stakeholders within the pharmacy and across the Allcare network to achieve company goals.Work proactively and independently when needed.Build positive relationships within the pharmacy to foster a good working environment.Participate in staff training and development programs.Assist in all areas of pharmacy operation as part of the team.Customer FocusedExceed customer expectations by making community pharmacies the local destination of choice.Deliver high-quality customer service.Provide advice and information on all product ranges available in the Pharmacy.Qualifications, Experience & Skills RequiredPreferably 1 year of experience in Pharmacy, Retail, or Hospitality.Cashier experience is an advantage.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Discretion when handling customer queries and confidentiality of customer/patient information.Strong attention to detail.Organized with the ability to multi-task under pressure.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
