HRBP (Dublin based) permanent full time.
The Role
The HRBP will provide professional, compliance-coordinated support, both to the HR Director and the wider business.
They will be required to lead on all operational functions of HR activities including talent management, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, workforce tracking, compilation of board reports, payroll coordination, employee engagement, well-being and various HR projects as and when required.
The HRBP provides HR partnership to department managers focusing on the work environment, employer relations, employee retention and business processes by executing the business unit HR strategy.
Key Accountabilities
Collaborate with the ELT and SMT to assess their needs and deliver tailored HR solutions that drive organisational success.
Manage and mentor the Junior HR Team, providing guidance, support, and development to ensure efficient HR operations.
Oversee the onboarding, off-boarding, and recruitment process, providing strategic support and guidance to hiring managers to ensure a seamless employee experience.
Partner with line managers to proactively guide, monitor and influence the management of employee performance, probations, absenteeism, and employee relations, fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce.
Foster a positive work culture by addressing employee concerns, promoting open communication, and driving initiatives to enhance engagement, satisfaction and retention.
Lead compliance with company policies and procedures, developing, implementing and updating as needed to reflect new practices, legislation and/or statutory requirements.
Develop close and effective working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure HR policies are implemented and integrated to meet operational needs.
Own the compilation of weekly and monthly HR metrics and data, ensuring accuracy and providing valuable insights to the HR Director.
Actively lead on and participate in yearly project work assigned to the HR department.
Lead company-wide employee feedback surveys, analyse responses, and provide management with reports highlighting key insights and areas for improvement.
Lead the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion agenda in partnership with the HR Director, chairing EDI Committee meetings and driving EDI engagement initiatives.
Support the implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and appraisals.
Manage, review and analyse payroll reports, including on-call, overtime and expenses, ensuring accuracy before coordinating the monthly submission with finance to the external payroll provider.
Support the management of the compensation and benefits remit, including pensions, risk and benchmarking.
Implement and maintain the highest professional standards for all human resource activities in accordance with company policy and best practice.
Qualifications/Experience Required
5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2-3 years in an HRBP role, in a busy SME.
Strong employee engagement, well-being and project management experience, preferably having worked on delivery of key HR projects.
Proficiency in HR analytics and ability to understand data.
Prior experience with Talent Management / Development a key advantage.
Be comfortable presenting to a wider audience and representing the business internally and externally.
Passionate about Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, with experience of the Irish Centre for Diversity framework, an advantage.
Strong employee relations experience, working on grievance / disciplinary matters either in an investigatory or advisory capacity.
Strong working knowledge of Irish employment law; employment law qualification desirable.
Excellent ability to work on own initiative and be confident in own decisions.
Ability to produce accurate work of consistently high quality, within tight timescales.
Ability to plan and structure own workload against a background of competing demands and high expectations.
Must be able to drive/have own car – attendance to company offices in Dublin is required.
