Job Opportunity: Finance Manager
Barden is proud to partner with the CFO of a successful Irish business headquartered in Cork. We are currently hiring an ambitious and self-motivated Finance Manager who is eager to participate in decision-making and has a strong commercial focus.
The company is experiencing growth and has strong future plans. You will receive excellent support from the Financial Controller and CFO in this role.

About the Role:
* Manage the finance team and oversee the on-site finance function.
* Develop team members to achieve high standards of work and ensure the finance function operates efficiently as a cohesive team.
* Ensure the accurate and timely completion of month-end management accounts for the recently acquired business.
* Manage and complete the annual budget and financial projections.
* Monitor financial performance, analyze results, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
* Act as a Finance Business Partner to key stakeholders, providing financial guidance and recommending improvements.
* Collaborate with the Financial Controller and CFO to review and enhance internal controls.
* Drive process improvements and system enhancements for ERP and other business systems.
* Identify and implement efficiencies and cost savings across the business.
About the Person:
* Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA) with 3-4 years of PQE.
* Proven experience in a similar finance role supporting a high-performance environment.
* Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with team members and communicate effectively at all levels.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
