Job Title: National Children's Officer
Description:
The key objective of this role is to develop, manage and implement all safeguarding processes across the organization.
This involves providing expert advice and support to clubs in areas related to child welfare and protection, as well as ensuring the safe recruitment of volunteers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for raising awareness of child welfare and protection issues and advising club children's officers to assist them in following organizational safeguarding policies and procedures.
This is a part-time position, requiring 2 days per week commitment. The ideal candidate will have primary responsibility for developing, managing and implementing safeguarding processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, manage and implement safeguarding processes
* Provide expert advice and support to clubs in child welfare and protection
* Raise awareness of child welfare and protection issues
* Advising club children's officers on organizational safeguarding policies and procedures
Requirements:
* Part-time role, 2 days per week
* Irregular and unsocial hours may be required at times
