Buyer and Stock Control Lead

About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team as a Buyer and Stock Control Lead. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the full purchase order process, ensuring accurate stock control and timely procurement.


We are looking for someone who is proactive, takes ownership of their work, and has excellent communication skills. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to manage costs, monitor backorders effectively, arrange supplier deliveries, and coordinate with carriers to ensure timely transportation.




As a skilled professional in purchasing and stock control, you will maintain accurate product data, track orders from placement through to delivery, keep schedules aligned for both sales and warehouse teams handle customs documentation calculate landed costs source competitive shipping rates oversee branch stock levels conduct regular cycle counts work closely with warehouse staff maintain precise stock locations correct discrepancies promptly while managing goods-in returns processes coordinate full stoktakes ensure smooth operations across all inventory activities.
