Project Manager Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of a civils project. This will involve establishing and promoting best practice in health, safety, and environmental matters, ensuring accurate setting out methods are implemented, and maintaining quality control throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish and promote best practice in health, safety, and environmental matters
* Evaluate construction sites to ensure compliance with regulations
* Coordinate with foremen and supervisors to maintain effective communication
* Develop and implement safe systems of work for construction procedures
* Maintain accurate records of site activities and progress
In order to excel in this role, you will need to have proven experience working on civil engineering projects, as well as skills in surveying and CAD techniques. You should also be able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including management, clients, and public officials.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience working on civil engineering projects
* Ability to develop and implement safe systems of work for construction procedures
* Knowledge of current civil engineering legislation and Health & Safety and Environmental legislation
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
