We are currently recruiting for the full-time position of Assistant Bar Manager, reporting to the Bar Manager. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in the management or supervision of a busy bar.Candidate Profile:Role would suit an energetic, customer focused hospitality professionalHave a very strong background in Bars & SupervisionBe a team player and completely focused on the delivery of exceptional customer serviceGood communication, decision-making skills & ability to work well under pressurePeople focused manager to support and mentor all staffResponsibilities: to assist the Bar Manager with the following:Ability to represent the Coach House at meetings when requiredEnsure all departmental staff are able to carry out their duties to the standards as laid down in the standard of performance manualBeen aware of relevant competitor information and market changes to initiate changes to our services, rates as appropriateTo ensure agreed uniform standards are achieved throughout the departmentCarry out regular review of departmental training needs in conjunction with departmental training plan and to assist in ensuring that all appropriate training is carried outRecord all training and attend training in accordance with agreed proceduresTo follow, implement and continuously update SOPs in the Coach HouseEnsure cash handling procedures are adhered to and stock control is proactively managedTo develop and coach the team through effective communication and Job chatsUtilise supervisory skills, effective communication, and motivation to maximise employee productivity and satisfactionTo ensure that the highest possible standard of personal hygiene, dress, appearance and conduct is maintained at all timesTo ensure effective rostering practices to maximise efficiency in the Brasserie & Banqueting BarsTo follow, implement and continuously update the SOP's for the Department
