Job DescriptionSocial Media & Content Creator (Part-Time)Organisation: Tempo Football AcademyLocation: Limerick / On-site & HybridHours: 20 hours per weekContract: Fixed-term (with potential to extend)Role OverviewThe Social Media & Content Creator is responsible for managing Tempo Football Academy's social media channels and producing consistent, high-quality content across all programmes.This role requires someone who can work independently, stay up to date with current content trends, and take ownership of output without the need for close supervision.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and publish content across Tempo's social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)Plan and deliver weekly and monthly content schedulesCreate engaging photo, video and short-form content at training sessions, events and tournamentsStay up to date with current social media trends, formats and best practicesEnsure all content aligns with Tempo's brand guidelines, values and toneCoordinate with coaching and programme staff to capture relevant contentEdit and prepare content for posting (video, captions, basic graphics)Monitor engagement and basic performance metricsMaintain consistency across all programmes, locations and eventsRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong understanding of football/soccer and sports cultureProven experience creating social media contentAbility to work independently and proactivelyStrong organisational skills and attention to detailConfident using social media platforms and content toolsComfortable working to deadlines and content plansDesirable SkillsExperience working with sports academies, clubs or eventsKnowledge of grassroots and youth football in IrelandBasic graphic design or video editing skillsExperience creating short-form video content (Reels, TikTok)Personal AttributesSelf-motivated and reliableTakes ownership and responsibilityCreative, organised and professionalComfortable working in a fast-paced sports environmentReporting LineReports to: Programme Director / Senior ManagementApplication ProcessApplicants should submit:CVExamples of previous social media or content workShort cover note outlining relevant experienceJob Type: Part-timePay: €18.00-€20.00 per hourExpected hours: 20 per weekEducation:Bachelor's (required)Language:English (required)Location:Limerick, CO.
