About this opportunity:In NM Engineering we develop and maintain Network Management requirements that maximise the value of Ericsson Networks for our 400+ customer base. We pride ourselves on our ability to put our people as well as the customer at the center. Our innovative capability lies at the heart of everything we do. With approx. 1500 staff in mainly 3 countries, we describe our organization as geographically distributed but functionally centralized.Right now, our NM Engineering Unit portfolio as we have transfered and now look to stabilize the CNOM Product from Core Network Engineering.The Core Network Operations Manager (CNOM) product provides functionality to support operational use cases, including monitoring, health check, data collection and analysis, troubleshooting, and tracing.The functionality is offered as part of the following:• Core Network Base Package in ENM, • Ericsson Network Director (END)Cloud Native products that include CNOM Server as an ADP re-usable serviceCNOM as part of the COmpact Core offeringWe are looking for an Engineering Manager, reporting to the Head Development Group Resource and Lifecyle Management, who will take end to end development responsibility for the product. As an Engineering Manager:You are result focused with line and project responsibility.You think outside the box and look at things from a different perspective. You are a dynamic leader that can drive and embrace change, and new ways of working. You empower teams to use creative solutions to achieve business objectives and can support them on their cultural journey. You understand the financial landscape and the need to drive more efficiency and effectiveness.You are accountable for ensuring that the teams are adequately resourced with the vital numbers of developers and the needed mix of experience and skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead an engineering team to achieve the near and long-term program and product objectives, including:• Secure product scope, anatomy, goals, deliverables, and timeline• Establish e2e responsibilities eg program roles, resources, competence & development capacity.• Drive product performance and drive continuous improvement.• Active risk management with clear mitigation strategies.• Deliver high quality SW with CI remain at the core of our way of working.• Create stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions.• Implement and manage change when necessary to meet business objectives.• Evolve the way we develop and deliver software to improve speed, flexibility, and simplification, ensure quality and improve customer satisfaction. • Financial planningAs a leader in our organization, we expect you to be cooperative, transparent, customer oriented and drive our business towards success.Key Qualifications:Education: B. Sc Comp Science or Engineering as minimum10 + years' experience in leading global teams in a multi-cultural environmentExperience in customer interactionExtensive knowledge and recent successful track record in leadership with a proven track record in change management a significant advantageProven strong leadership skills. You should be able to give clear examples of success stories that came from your lean management style and empowerment of people. Coaching & mentoring skills Strong influential skills and ability to cope with pressure and setbacksProven track record in large scale development with agile methods according to lean principlesProven track record in driving Effectiveness and Efficiency across all disciplines of R&DExperience in driving fast and complex changeExperience in Frame Management and a good understanding of cost driver for R&DProven track record of being a team player, building strong and highly empowered teams Your attitude is characterized by "one Ericsson"You have excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
