The Site Quality Manager will lead and drive the quality strategy within the MOOG MRO Services site as part of Moog's Commercial Aircraft Group. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across all programs. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with expertise in quality systems, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence in highly regulated industries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a unified quality strategy across the site.
* Utilize state-of-the-art analysis and control techniques to predict quality trends and anticipate potential issues before they arise.
* Work to ingrain a quality and continuous improvement culture throughout the organization that is aligned with business goals.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP, etc.) and customer and regulatory (FAA, EASA, CAAC, CAA etc.) specific requirements.
* Oversee internal and external audits, corrective actions, and risk mitigation plans.
* Collaborate closely with Engineering and Operations to ensure quality is built into current and new product development and processes.
* Drive root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to improve product reliability and customer satisfaction.
* Monitor and report on key quality metrics and performance indicators to site leadership.
* Serve as the primary quality liaison for key customers and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality, Business, or a related technical field.
* 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in quality management within aerospace.
* Proven experience managing quality across multiple product lines.
* Strong knowledge of quality systems, regulatory compliance, and industry standards.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
* Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
