Our client in Dublin Port is looking for a Traffic Management Operative to join their team. No experience required as training will be provided. Traffic Management Operative Based in Dublin Port (Docklands). Own transport is preferred as shifts may begin outside of the hours of public transport. Roster changes between days and nights so you MUST be able to work both shifts. (Not one or the other). Day shift is (5am - 5pm) €13.50 per hour(Paid Weekly) *ALSO PAID BREAKS* Night shift is (5pm - 5am) €15 per hour(Paid Weekly) *ALSO PAID BREAKS* O/T shifts are available and paid at a higher rate(AVAILABLE MOST WEEKS) It's a 3 day on, 3 day off roster, which means you will be required to work for 3 days at a time (3 days on, then 3 days off, then 3 days back on, then 3 days back off and so on). Each block of 3 days will be the same shift i.e 3 days on the day shift, then 3 days off, then 3 days on the night shift, then 3 days off. Paid weekly (Every Friday) Overtime ONLY applies when you work a shift that is outside of your rostered shifts. (NOT AFTER 39 HOURS). Duties to include: Manage oncoming traffic to the correct location. Ensure the desired flow of pedestrians and vehicles. Maintain the expected frequency of interaction of vehicles and pedestrians. Provide illustrations of the layout of barriers, walkways, signs, and general arrangements to warn and guide traffic around, past, or through the work site. Full uniform will be provided as a successful candidate will work in a front facing role alongside our customers, because of this it is expected that all employee's conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.
