Azure Solution Architect
Contract: 6 months
Location: Hybrid - Dublin City Centre
Daily Rate: Market Rate
As an Azure Solution Architect, you will design cloud solutions and define the technical direction across client projects.
Role Overview
1. Design Azure-based solutions aligned to business and technical requirements.
2. Define cloud and technology roadmaps for clients and delivery teams.
3. Lead end-to-end technical design, governance, and delivery.
4. Develop migration, implementation, and deployment plans.
5. Produce architectural blueprints covering functional and non-functional needs.
6. Mentor team members and support capability development.
7. Contribute to sales and presales activities, including solution shaping and estimation.
8. Provide leadership, coaching, and performance support for technical staff.
Requirements
9. Strong experience in software and cloud architecture.
10. Broad technical knowledge across applications, data, infrastructure, and security.
11. Deep experience with Microsoft Azure services and architectures (App Services, AKS, Functions, Storage, SQL/NoSQL, ARM/Bicep/Terraform, .
12. Experience with React or Angular, Docker, and Kubernetes.
13. Expertise in integration patterns (API-led, event streaming) and Java/.NET frameworks.
14. Solid understanding of cloud adoption frameworks, security best practices, and operational models.
15. Strong stakeholder management and experience producing solution proposals.
16. Relevant certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, .
