Hands on Quality Engineer Required For a busy Manufacturing Facility in Shannon Co Clare.Duties will Include but not limited to;· Programming and Running of CMMs· PPAP· FAIR· Continuous Improvement Activities· Working Closely with the Production department to ensure smooth Shipping of in Spec parts and Assemblies.· Corrective & Preventative Actions· Maintaining and updating the QMS documentation/records/systems· Assisting engineering teams on product/process verification for new and existing products.· Assist with operating and maintaining calibration systems.· Collect and Store Measurement DataRequirements and Skills:· Previous experience in manufacturing required.· Proficient in Cad· Degree in Relevant Discipline an Advantage but Industry Experience will be considered particularly experience programming CMMS· Proven to be self-directed, self-motivated and able to prioritize and resolve competing priorities.· Strong team member with the ability to identify and drive quality improvements.· Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Good investigative and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail· Decision making capability coupled with the ability to work independently and proactively· Knowledge and experience of materials, sheet metal and machining processes and or aerospace· Experience in APQP PPAP's would be advantageousJob Type: Full-timeAbility to commute/relocate:Shannon, County Clare: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Work Location: In person
