As a Business Transformation Director, you will:Lead large and complex (multi-year / multi-million) business transformations end-to-end.Build valuable relationships with our clients and develop a track-record of delivery recognised throughout the market.Deliver key strategic business transformations for Financial Services clients, ensuring service quality on engagements, leveraging sector experience to deliver Business, IT and Regulatory driven transformations.Manage the overall business transformation end to end within scope, quality, time and budget, in accordance with EY and client delivery standards.Work with the programme team, EY Partners and client programme leadership, business and technical leads, operational risk and internal audit teams.Own the delivery relationship with the client.Provide leadership and guidance to the overall business transformation team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Represent the programme at necessary client governance sessions at ExCo level and EY internal meetings.Understand costs, forecasts and actuals and manage the master resource list.Draw on EY capabilities across Business, Technology, People and Risk Consulting, and leverage global EY experience.Collaborate with a global team to develop innovative solutions and benefit from training and development for client engagements.Lead EY FSO Business Consulting business development activities, including proposals, thought leadership and input for client events.Lead EY Business Consulting operations ensuring operational metrics are met (utilisation, timesheets, and related processes).Coach our people to navigate their careers, support personal development, and manage performance (LEAD).Navigate ambiguous problems, define client needs, approach to resolving engagements, and deliver value to stakeholders.Write sharp, concise documents for C-suite audiences and present to clients; manage difficult C-suite stakeholders to provide reassurance.Independently lead complex engagements from inception to completion with coordination to client strategic objectives.Manage engagement revenue and billing for programmes/projects.Develop our people through mentoring and building high-performing cross-sub-service line teams.Shape solutions for complex problems by bringing EY cross-service line and EMEIA capability to the client.Translate client needs into EY commercial solutions delivering differentiated outcomes.Maintain senior client relationships and present insights and innovations to impact future state and EY opportunities.Ensure service quality best practices and standards, deliver engagements to planned margins, and adhere to firm standards for engagement management.Guide and mentor delivery teams with practical experience in implementing Business Transformations.Create thought leadership pieces that build the reputation of our teams (blogs, interviews, speaking engagements).Skills and attributes for successTo qualify for the role, you must have:12+ years senior level experience in consulting and delivery of large-scale complex change programmes.Experience in a matrix managed organisation.Primary degree.Experience in establishing, training and managing teams comprised of staff, contractors, and strategic partners.Strong financial background including experience of business case development and financial governance.Excellent communication skills – tailoring communications to suit a mix of audiences.Deep functional expertise with relevant accreditation in allocated programme/Domain e.g. Credit, Risk, Finance etc.A proven track record of delivering business value.Ability to take a ‘big picture’ delivery view as well as work at a detailed level across various contract types.Delivery experience within large-scale Business Transformation programmes, taking ownership of delivery across internal client teams.Experience aligning business and IT, operating across silos to drive common approaches, delivering sustainable, agile and re-usable solutions.Accreditation and practitioner experience in PM approaches (PRINCE II, Agile Frameworks & Methods, PMI/PMP).Comfort working with client executives and senior management.Experience in Banking, Insurance, FMCG, Technology, Health, or similar sectors.Ideally, you will also have:Experience in Digital Transformations, Agile Delivery Methods, Business Design, Regulatory Change.CRM programme delivery experience, enabling change programmes via CRM implementations.Project Management Certification and/or Agile certification desirable (PRINCE2, Scrum Master).Experience using project and portfolio management tools such as Clarity.Management Consulting experience.Decision Making:Make decisions with significant project impact; escalate unresolved decisions per governance.Problem Solving:Exceptional problem-solving ability, including logical reasoning and creative thinking; lead problem solving and issue management for project deliverables.Communicate complex ideas effectively;
