Civil Project Coordinator Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Coordinator to oversee civils projects in Ireland.
The successful candidate will have previous road/civils experience and a strong understanding of project management, coordination, and quality control.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing daily project operations, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance
* Coordinating teams, subcontractors, and logistics to meet targets
* Conducting site inspections, setting out works, and maintaining progress records
* Liaising with clients, authorities, and internal teams for smooth delivery
* Overseeing traffic management and ensuring safe execution of works
Requirements include:
* Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
* At least 3 years' experience ideally in a supervisory role
* Good knowledge of project management, coordination, and quality control
* Up-to-date with health and safety standards; Safe Pass and Manual Handling certs required
* Strong communication, leadership, and organisational abilities
* Skilled in setting out, surveying, and reading technical plans
* Familiarity with council surfacing contracts and public sector frameworks desirable
* Full driving licence
