We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. This senior-level individual contributor role will partner with agile teams to bring your solution architecture skills to assist in the design and delivery of various initiatives that align with our technology standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with partners to understand business and technology problems or opportunities.
* Provide guidance and governance on technology obsolescence, component re-use, and platform modernisation.
* Design, document, and communicate solution designs that accommodate Agile Principles.
* Incorporate reuse, standardization, and security-by-design into solution designs.
* Be innovative in design thinking and influence the technology roadmap.
* Take architectural designs through onboarding processes to ensure they meet our standards.
* Participate in architecture reviews as part of our Architecture Assurance process.
* Support the implementation of architectural designs from infrastructure setup through to delivery.
* Provide support for teams and business partners during budget cycles.
* Empower development teams to deliver architectural designs with a light touch approach.
* Be an involved member in our technology community, championing the latest technologies and trends.
Requirements:
* Self-motivated to excel in a position requiring collaboration with a remote team.
* A self-starter who can take initiative without waiting for direction.
* The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
* Experience working and communicating with business and technical stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
* An inquisitive mindset with a track record of seeking out and implementing new technologies and architectural patterns.
Technical Skills and Qualifications:
* Significant experience with MEAN stack, .Net core, Python, or other middleware technologies.
* Multifactor authentication and single sign-on (OAuth, SAML).
* Containerisation and Kubernetes.
* Microservice-based architecture.
* Secure by Design concepts.
* Secure DevOps.
* Exposure to Big Data, Data Lake, and BI tools.
* Application Performance Monitoring (APM) techniques.
* Agile methodology.
* Recognised document standards (C4, UML, Archimate).
