As the Chef at our facility, you will oversee all aspects of meal planning and preparation. You will work with our dietary team to ensure that all meals are well-balanced and meet the nutritional needs of our residents. You'll also be in charge of managing inventory, ordering supplies, and staying within budget constraints.
We are looking for a talented Chef with a track record of success in the kitchen. In addition to your culinary skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities are essential for this role. If you are organised, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure, we encourage you to apply.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Chef at Talbot Lodge Nursing Home may also be responsible for:
* Designing appealing menus and daily specials
* Preparing and cooking meals according to food safety guidelines
* Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
* Training and supervising kitchen staff as needed
* Assisting with the planning and execution of special events and catering functions
