Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at tn-ireland.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with excellent knowledge of drainage, water, roads, and traffic system design.
You will be responsible for working closely with senior managers on the delivery of major projects, ensuring that technical, managerial, and commercial aspects are handled effectively.
A key aspect of this role is your ability to identify and apply appropriate scientific methods to solve engineering problems, while also understanding the limitations of established best practice as defined by Standards and Codes.
You will be required to plan and manage the use of human and physical resources for your projects, as well as demonstrate strong communication skills both orally and in writing.
Your expertise should include experience in compiling engineering planning documentation for major projects, producing Flood Risk Assessments, and preparing Traffic & Transportation Assessments and Mobility Management Plans.
Road Safety Audit experience would be beneficial, and you should have a good understanding of the Irish regulatory and policy issues.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must be a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland or ICE, and have a minimum of 5 years experience in a design office environment.
