Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Mechanical Engineer to develop and implement automation projects. You will be responsible for designing automated equipment, implementing test frameworks, installing, validating equipment, and troubleshooting issues. This role requires a strong understanding of automation best practices, test strategies, and operations integration.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and support automation projects as part of a team
2. Design and validate automated equipment
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration
4. Support internal customers and improve organizational capabilities
5. Work with QA and operations to embed testing in development
6. Analyze issues, identify root causes, and resolve problems
7. Complete FMEAs, review FDS, SDS, and manuals
8. Perform end-to-end system validation
9. Monitor quality metrics and KPIs
10. Participate in design reviews from a testing perspective
11. Troubleshoot system and process issues
12. Continuously improve process performance
13. Adhere to quality and regulatory standards
Requirements
1. Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing within the life sciences sector
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
3. Level 8 Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline
4. Proven project management skills
5. Excellent communication and influencing skills
6. Autonomous working ability
7. Team player with flexibility
