Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Dublin. This is a long-term day rate contract that offers the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide desktop support and maintenance services for end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
* To maintain remote access systems, create reports based on customer needs, and ensure safe-net compliance
* To collaborate with colleagues to develop uniform approaches to problem resolution through drafting technical books of knowledge (BOKS)
* To install PCs/laptops, configure IP details, apply images, configure Windows 10 devices as part of domain setup etc., experience with Active Directory required
* To repair PCs/laptops/smartphones using hands-on skills; set up smart devices (iOS & Android), VOIP deployment/user changes/Jabber access/extension mobility via Cisco Call Manager/cisco video conferencing solution
