Commercial Leadership Opportunity
The ideal candidate for this senior management role will lead and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors to ensure all commercial aspects of the business are effectively managed. This position requires a degree-qualified individual in Quantity Surveying or a related field with over 10 years of post-college experience in Quantity Surveying and extensive residential expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process Optimization: Develop and implement processes and systems to streamline business operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
* Reporting and Communication: Develop and draft various reporting types, including internal reports and external communications with investors, funders, bank monitors, and other stakeholders.
* Business Development: Collaborate with the development team to create business cases, including development appraisals, cost plans, and other financial projections.
* Project Management: Oversee feasibility appraisals, consultant procurement, due-diligence, and delivery programs, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
* Budget Monitoring: Regularly monitor budgets and timescales to ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Staff Development: Coach, mentor, and train staff members to enhance their skills and performance.
* Executive Support: Report directly to and support the Managing Director on various issues, providing strategic advice and guidance.
* Client Relationships: Manage client relationships from a commercial perspective, ensuring all final accounts are agreed and the business relationship is retained.
