Description
As part of this global risk and operations team, you will respond to real‑time crises while proactively identifying and assessing emerging threats. You will conduct risk‑focused investigations and help shape strategies that strengthen community safety and operational resilience. Using your deep understanding of internal tools, products, policies, and workflows, you will partner closely with cross‑functional teams to design and implement tailored mitigation plans across multiple regions, policy areas, and product surfaces. This role places you at the centre of managing crises, elections, and complex or unconventional issues, ensuring the continued safety and well‑being of user communities worldwide.
Responsibilities
Serve as a subject‑matter expert in interpreting and enforcing platform policies, including community guidelines, advertiser and commerce rules, and product‑specific standards.
Investigate and resolve emerging risks reported across the company’s products, including account‑support escalations and potentially abusive or sensitive content (e.g., graphic imagery, videos, writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other objectionable material across organic content, ads, and commerce).
Analyse data from escalations and content/ad reviews to identify trends, improve escalation processes, inform policy development, and generate operational insights.
Demonstrate composure under pressure and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders such as Policy, Legal, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations.
Adapt quickly to evolving requirements and prioritise high‑impact escalation requests.
Partner closely with vendor teams to ensure operational KPIs are met or exceeded, while contributing to process improvements, tooling enhancements, and scalable solutions.
Work as part of a 24/7 global team, including participation in on‑call rotations during weekends or after hours when required.
Apply your Kurdish‑Sorani and Arabic language skills, along with regional geopolitical awareness and cultural nuance, to identify signals, interpret risk patterns, and resolve complex operational issues within the region.
Minimum Qualifications
Fluency in Kurdish Sorani and Arabic
5+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, Online Operations, Risk, Compliance, Consulting, or similar operational roles within the tech sector
Demonstrated strategic thinking and a track record of improving customer or user experience through innovation and continuous improvement
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across global, cross‑functional teams
Ability to review graphic, sensitive, or objectionable content as part of daily responsibilities
Strong judgment under tight deadlines and shifting priorities
Basic proficiency with analytical tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) to support reporting, insights, and operational decision‑making
