Process Engineering Specialist
The role of Process Engineering Specialist involves driving continuous improvement for existing volume manufacturing processes, layers & tools. This includes determining root cause analysis of yield issues, excursions, equipment downs and implementing corrective actions & robust solutions to improve the process.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Driving continuous improvement for existing volume manufacturing processes, layers & tools.
* Determining root cause analysis of yield issues, excursions, equipment downs and implementing corrective actions & robust solutions to improve the process.
* Defining and developing new wafer level capabilities.
* Establishing clear standards for methods of equipment and/or process work amongst shift personnel and Eng. groups.
* Periodic review of key metrics associated with Safety, Quality, Output and Value for Money on equipment and processes for an area and driving associated initiatives.
* Developing own expertise of key technology changes/equipment platform changes and developments within an area.
* Capital acquisition inclusive of definition, tool selection, installation and qualification for new technology or existing technologies.
* Responsible for the safe practices across toolsets.
* Representing the company at business and technical conferences.
This specialist requires a degree in Applied Physics /Electronics/Material's/Chemistry or relevant discipline, direct experience in one or more of the following: Etch, Lithography, Deposition, Epitaxial growth, Wet Chemistry processing, Ion Implantation, Diffusion etc, 3+ years' experience in a hands-on processing engineering, excellent technical problem solving & multi-tasking skills, good communication and interaction skills, data driven and ability to apply science theory and engineering concepts, self-directing, self-motivated and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
