Occupli is supporting a leading global organisation in delivering a next-generation manufacturing facility in Cork.
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Lead to drive H&S excellence across a large-scale greenfield build.
The Role
Lead Health & Safety across the full project lifecycle – from design and planning through construction, commissioning, and operational readiness.
You'll ensure compliance with all regulatory and corporate standards while building a strong, proactive safety culture on site.
Key Responsibilities
Lead H&S planning, risk assessment, and compliance for a major CAPEX project
Oversee contractor safety and site coordination
Drive audits, inspections, and incident investigations
Deliver training, inductions, and behavioural safety programmes
Support commissioning, PSSR, and safe operational handover
Partner cross-functionally to ensure site readiness
Requirements
10+ years' experience in construction H&S within manufacturing environments
Proven track record on large-scale projects (€50M+)
Strong knowledge of Irish/EU H&S regulations
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
