Mayo, we set the standard for design inspiration, working with architects, designers, and homeowners to bring their ideas to life.We are now seeking a dependable and committed Warehouse Operative & Van Driver to join our team. This is a varied role in a fast-paced environment, combining warehouse duties with customer service and deliveries.ResponsibilitiesAs Warehouse Operative & Van Driver, you will:· Load and unload vehicles, ensuring goods are handled with care and secured properly.· Receive, check and store incoming stock, reporting any discrepancies.· Record stock movements on inventory software, keeping records accurate and up to date.· Pick, pack and prepare orders so they are accurate and ready for dispatch.· Ensure customer orders are delivered safely, professionally and on time.· Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment in accordance with health and safety requirements.· Assist within the store when required and support colleagues as part of the wider team.· Represent Inspire Tiles and Stone as a brand ambassador, always maintaining a professional and courteous approach.The CandidateWe are looking for someone who can demonstrate:· A full, clean Category B driving licence (minimum two years).· Excellent customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written English).· Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery role (preferred).· Experience using tablets or mobile communication equipment.· Physically fit and comfortable with lifting and moving heavy items.· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.· Reliability, punctuality and a positive, team-oriented attitude.Desirable (but not essential):· A valid truck licence (7- or 10-tonne).· Forklift licence or experience with warehouse equipment.Details and Benefits· Job Type: Permanent, full-time.· Hours / Days: Monday to Saturday (3 pm finish on Saturday).· Probationary Period: Three months.· Remuneration: Competitive salary (DOE).· Benefits: On-the-job training, working within a supportive team environment, opportunities for professional development.How to ApplyIf you are looking for a varied role where teamwork, reliability and customer service matter, please send your CV and a short cover letter explaining why you think you are a good fit for this role, to:Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Company pensionFlexitimeOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
