Acorn Water is seeking an experienced Business Services Manager to take ownership of core office, administrative, and operational functions.
This is a senior part-time role, suited to candidates who have led teams, managed operations, or run their own business or department. The successful individual will be comfortable operating with autonomy, making decisions, and setting professional standards across the organisation. This role will not suit entry-level or junior administrators.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day office operations and administration
Senior point of contact for suppliers and internal teams
Lead sourcing and procurement activities
Support contract and tender administration
Recruitment, own staff onboarding, training coordination, and compliance records
Strategic oversight of logistics, suppliers, processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, & continuity rather than day-to-day execution.
Manage invoicing, purchasing, documentation, and financial controls
Coordinate internal and external events, meetings, and training
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:
Experience managing teams, functions, or operations within a structured organisation or running their own business
Hands-on with strong commercial & organisational judgement
Experience with Sage (or similar systems) and Microsoft Office
