Automation Engineer - Vascular Device Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team as a Vascular Device Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to design and develop automation systems and processes that will improve efficiency and productivity in the medical device industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop automation systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
* Create detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
* Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed automation solutions.
* Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of automation systems.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation equipment and software.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
* Provide training and support to end-users on the operation and maintenance of automation systems.
* Prepare technical documentation, including user manuals, maintenance procedures, and project reports.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in automation technology and industry trends.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in automation engineering, with a proven track record of successful automation projects in the medical device industry.
* Strong knowledge of automation systems, PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems.
* Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
