Our Client is seeking a Supply Chain Planner. The successful candidate will report to the Supply Chain Manager and will be responsible for all activities related to production planning and customer order delivery.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the management of customer deliveries, from customer order receipt, sales order processing, stock availability checks, customer communications, and interface with our distribution providers.
* Responsible for the management of production planning and raw material ordering, to ensure 100% availability of finished goods, to meet customer demands.
* Collaborate with our Commercial Team, in the area of demand planning, to support sales forecasting process.
* Manage our third-party distribution suppliers, to ensure high standards are delivered in the areas of customer deliveries, customer services, and stock management.
* Act as the key point of contact for the Supply Chain functions of our customers.
* Establish and manage all key performance indicator metrics associated with our customers.
* Contribute to factory OEE by managing factory capacity and efficient production planning.
* Management of the introduction of new SKUs to achieve customer launch dates, and the run out of the delisting SKUs to avoid stock write-off.
* Ensure production downtime is avoided, by ensuring sufficient raw materials are available.
* Drive continuous improvement across the department, and lead and support various projects across the company.
Requirements:
* Relevant Third Level Qualification in Supply Chain or a related discipline.
* Highly disciplined in the execution of plans and schedules.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
* Ability to work with all levels of company staff.
* IT proficiency - good knowledge of Microsoft, in particular Excel and Outlook.
