About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistant to join our Residential Services team in South Limerick, supporting adults and children with Intellectual Disabilities.
In this full-time, permanent role, you will play a key part in providing care and support that enhances the lives of service users in a safe, respectful, and person-centred environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
2. Respond appropriately to challenging behaviours in both adults and children.
3. Work collaboratively with a dedicated team and independently when required.
4. Foster and maintain positive, professional relationships with service users, families, and stakeholders.
5. Support the day-to-day running of residential services.
6. Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and all residential care regulations.
Essential Requirements:
7. QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support or a relevant field (Full award required).
8. Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
9. Full manual driving licence and access to own transport.
10. Flexible, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
11. A genuine interest in supporting individuals to live fulfilling lives.
