Role Description
The Social Media Content Creator is responsible for developing engaging, original, and brand-aligned content across various digital platforms to enhance audience engagement, brand awareness, and community growth. This role combines creativity with strategic thinking to produce visually appealing and impactful content that aligns with marketing goals. The ideal candidate is imaginative, social media-savvy, and skilled at transforming ideas into compelling visual and written narratives.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop creative content concepts, campaigns, and storytelling strategies that align with the brand's voice and objectives.
* Create high-quality photo, video, and graphic content tailored for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
* Write engaging captions, blog posts, and copy optimized for each social media platform.
* Manage social media calendars and schedule content for consistent posting and optimal engagement.
* Monitor social media trends, viral content, and competitor activities to inform creative direction.
* Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to align social content with brand and campaign goals.
* Interact with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions to maintain community engagement.
* Analyze performance metrics and insights to refine content strategies and improve reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
* Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for campaigns and partnerships.
* Ensure all content aligns with brand identity, tone, and visual guidelines.
* Stay current with emerging social media tools, technologies, and algorithms to maintain a competitive edge.
* Assist with influencer collaborations, product launches, and live social media events.
* Manage digital asset organization, including media libraries and content archives.
* Support paid advertising initiatives by creating engaging creatives and A/B testing content formats.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, or a related field.
* 2–4 years of experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing.
* Proficiency with social media platforms and content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro).
* Strong photography, videography, and editing skills with attention to composition and visual storytelling.
* Excellent writing and communication abilities, with an understanding of tone and audience engagement.
* Experience with social analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, Google Analytics, or Sprout Social).
* Knowledge of SEO, content optimization, and paid social media strategies is a plus.
* Creative mindset with a strong sense of aesthetics and current cultural trends.
