A Financial Accountant is required to join a growing company in Ireland on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The successful candidate will report into the Financial Controller and be responsible for managing and delivering all financial management responsibilities with best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare monthly and annual accounts for group entities, including associated reconciliations and variance analysis.
">
* Post and process journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payments to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
">
* Produce and analyze cash flow forecasts, including variance analysis reporting.
">
* Support the relevant monthly reporting requirements with credit providers and senior management.
">
* Play a key role in the preparation and compilation of annual budgets and forecasts.
">
* Daily supervision and monthly reconciliation of bank and cash balances.
">
* Oversee and manage VAT returns.
">
* Support Accounts Payable in processing and monitoring supplier and subcontractor invoicing.
">
* Develop a working relationship with key business stakeholders and work closely with Procurement, Accounts Payable, and site management teams.
">
* Support the Finance team in driving the use of digital technology solutions in reporting.
">

Requirements:
">
To be considered for this position, you must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA) with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience.
">
You should have excellent IT and financial systems knowledge, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
">
Experience in construction or manufacturing is advantageous, but not essential.
">
Candidates must be available to commence employment within a month.
