Job Opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing daily site operations, including subcontractor management, direct labor coordination and material procurement.
* Implementation of quality assurance programs and regular site inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Enforcement of health and safety regulations, conducting toolbox talks and verifying adherence to risk assessment and method statements.
* Maintenance of site records, reports, lookahead schedules and necessary documentation (including BCAR files where applicable).
* Liaison with project managers, engineers, architects, local authorities and utility providers.
* Monitoring budget performance, collaborating with quantity surveyors and managing risk strategies to achieve project milestones.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in site management, preferably on residential developments (housing, apartments or mixed-use).
* Knowledge and application of Irish building regulations, certification standards (e.g., BCAR) and relevant safety requirements.
* Degree or higher diploma in construction or equivalent trade qualifications, or relevant hands-on experience.
