Your mission at LINDAL
The Lindal Group’s vision is to make dispensing a safer, easier, and more pleasant experience for the end consumer. To support the Group’s Strategic Objectives, a new NPPI team has been created to focus on design for manufacture, development of new technologies, and the harmonization of manufacturing processes across Lindal’s global footprint. The NPPI engineer will own activities to secure the efficient implementation of significant new projects into Lindal’s manufacturing sites. The successful candidate will be part of the NPPI team, serving as the link between GIC (Global Innovation Centre), vendors, and manufacturing sites.
Roles And Responsibilities
1. Project management of all activities from the industrialization phase of a new product (from Gate C – Product Realization).
2. Review, agree, and maintain development outcomes from Lindal Product Realization Process, ensuring adherence to drawing standards, supporting metrology development, creating User Requirement Specifications, conducting assets Design Reviews, and performing FAT and SAT.
3. Maintain Risk Assessments (PFMEA).
4. Support Design verification and Design/Process validation.
5. Promote a “platform thinking approach” to reinforce core competencies and knowledge.
6. Develop extensive hands-on training for plant personnel involved with transfers.
7. Liaise with Lindal Plant Project lead to install and commission assets on time.
8. Communicate regularly with management, both informally and formally, on project progress.
9. Implement all necessary criteria to ensure compliance with Quality System.
10. Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
Your profile
Technical Skills & Qualifications
* Mechanically minded.
* Experience in packaging and high-volume production.
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as metal stamping, extrusion tubing, welding on substrates, exotic polymers, and metal spring design.
* Knowledge of automation systems.
* High level of computer skills.
* Experience in procurement of equipment.
* Knowledge of Verification & Validation models.
* Ideally, a degree in Precision Engineering, Industrialization, or equivalent.
