Procurement Specialist
The role of Procurement Specialist introduces graduates to the complex nature of global procurement. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with professionals in the procurement field.
1. Supporting customer order fulfillment at various stages, processing and managing purchase orders.
2. Assisting with vendor relationships while maintaining internal relationships with stakeholders.
3. Supporting order creation, processing, fulfillment, ongoing follow-up, goods receipt and invoice validation of purchase requisitions.
Executing reports through SAP and Supply Chain Transformation system for analyzing high-demand items to ensure materials are available when needed. Interfacing with key internal stakeholders on logistics and Import/Export.
* Liaison, interaction and coordination with vendors to secure available discounts and best pricing for orders.
* Managing processes and systems issues, as well as data integrity, in order to process requisitions allowing for successful processing of purchase orders.
Performing root cause analysis on recurring problems to provide recommendations for improving Procure-to-Pay Processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
* Willingness to work virtually and in-person, and to attend company events.
* Internship experience in a business or related field and/or a project portfolio that supports.
