We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our client’s team in Dublin on a hybrid basis, working on pharmaceutical manufacturing projects. This role is ideal for someone with advanced BIM expertise in Revit who enjoys delivering fully coordinated designs in complex, multidisciplinary environments. You’ll contribute to digital project delivery and play a key role in advancing innovative engineering solutions.Location and Working PatternDublin, Ireland – Hybrid working, combining office and remote flexibility.Client OverviewOur client is a leading engineering services provider, recognised for delivering cutting‑edge solutions across major industrial and pharmaceutical projects.ResponsibilitiesLead the development, management, and governance of electrical BIM models in Revit in accordance with project and client standardsModel electrical systems including containment, power distribution, equipment layouts, earthing, and lighting for pharmaceutical facilitiesProduce fully coordinated electrical layouts and construction‑ready drawings supporting all project phasesGuarantee model accuracy, compliance, and data integrity throughout the lifecycleCoordinate electrical models with other disciplines, manage clash detection using Navisworks or similar tools, and resolve issues efficientlyTranslate electrical schematics, single‑line diagrams, and vendor documentation into accurate BIM deliverablesServe as the primary BIM interface for electrical engineering, liaising with project teams, contractors, and vendorsMentor junior modellers and improve BIM workflows, standards, and content librariesMust‑have RequirementsProven experience developing electrical BIM models in RevitStrong knowledge of BIM execution plans, standards, and multidisciplinary coordinationExperience supporting pharmaceutical or similarly regulated environmentsSkilled in clash detection using Navisworks or equivalentAbility to interpret detailed electrical drawings and ensure compliance with QA standardsWe welcome applications from every walk of life and are committed to diversity within the industries we support, as a certified Inclusive Recruiter and Armed Forces friendly employer.
