We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Site Engineer, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of construction projects.
About the Role

You will be responsible for coordinating site activities, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met, and serving as a key link between site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily site operations and ensure alignment with project plans and specifications.
* Monitor and report on project progress, maintaining accurate records and site diaries.
* Supervise subcontractors and site personnel to drive productivity and quality.
* Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, standards, and safety requirements.
* Promote and enforce health, safety, and welfare protocols across the site.
* Perform setting out using GPS and robotic total stations to ensure layout accuracy.
* Manage site resources effectively (labour, materials, plant) and coordinate with suppliers.
* Resolve on-site technical issues and communicate changes or risks to the project team.
* Serve as the primary on-site liaison for contractors, clients, consultants, and inspectors.
* Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on resource needs, issues, and milestones.
* Maintain excellent communication and client satisfaction throughout the build process.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* 3–5 years of experience in a Site Engineer role on medium to large-scale projects.
* Familiarity with Irish construction standards, regulations, and best practices.
* Proficient in construction technology tools (AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.).
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder coordination.
* A practical, hands-on problem solver with a strong attention to detail.
* Full, clean driver's licence required.
