This role requires full on-site presence.Responsibilities:Create schematics and PCB layouts for Inertial systems (gyroscope, accelerometers, IMU…), test equipment and production equipmentDesign and develop electronics for test and production equipment from specification to validationMaintain and update existing electronics designPerform verification, testing and debugging using lab equipment such as oscilloscope, logic analyser, function generators or spectrum analyserCreate technical documentation (design justification, test procedure, test report…)Working collaboratively with other engineering teams (product, automation, mechanical, control) and manufacturing teamWork with suppliers & partners to ensure rigorous standards and requirements are satisfied.Provide assistance to customers queries and iaise with PCB, PCBA and component suppliersQualifications and Skills RequiredMinimum RequirementsExperience of analogue electronics (in particular signal conditioning), micro controllers and data interface (e.g. RS-422, RS-485, CAN…) circuit designExperience in layout of mixed signal multilayer PCB boardHardware test experience – design verification, debug and failure analysis to component level and experience in using Lab test equipmentKnowledge of writing technical documents (boards schematics, design report, design justification document)Preferred RequirementsKnowledge of IPCX electronic standards (to build the bare board)Familiar with SPICE model simulationsKnowledge Power supply design (linear and switched mode, loop compensation)Knowledge of working with Sensors (especially inertial sensors) & embedded systemsKnowledge of electronics design CAD (Cadence OrCAD preferred)Experience with microcontroller and FPGA based designKnowledge of EMC/EMI design best practicesExperience in ECSS/MIL standardsBenefitsCompetitive SalaryHealthcarePensionIncome ProtectionDeath in ServiceFree Parking22 days annual leave (Increases with service)
