Our client is hiring an Accountant to join our team at Co. Cavan.
Reports to: Financial Controller
(Fully office based)
The accountant is responsible for preparing, examining, and maintaining financial records to ensure compliance with regulations, accuracy, and financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
The Accountant will be responsible for providing a wide range of financial information.
Specific areas of responsibility include:
• Payroll
• Month end reporting
• Year end audit and preparation of financial statements
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Analysis and provision of key information to management
• Monthly and Annual reporting
• Day-to-day involvement with the running of the Finance team
• Statutory and tax returns
The PersonCandidate Profile:
• Qualified Accountant / Part Qualified with relevant experience
• Experience of using a finance system
• Excellent analytical skills
• Results orientated
• Excellent technical abilities
• Strong financial acumen and the ability to perform a hands-on role
• Excellent communication, customer care, and people management skills
• Excellent planning, organisational, and leadership skills
