About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Fitter to join our team in Ireland. This role involves the operation, maintenance, and repair of water and wastewater treatment systems.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Perform routine maintenance and operational tasks on treatment plant equipment.
* Carry out general duties both indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions.
* Undertake heavy manual work as required.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will be required to conduct specialized mechanical preventative maintenance and repairs, work independently at times while adhering strictly to safety procedures and formal protocols. You will also participate in a regular standby call-out rota.
The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills with process experience being an advantage. They should have excellent communication interpersonal skills along with proficiency in reading technical documentation English.
