Overview

We are currently hiring a Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join our dynamic Supply Chain team in Little Island on a permanent basis.

The supply chain team is the lynchpin of operations, ensuring the careful coordination of concentrate ingredients and recipes. The team works with our global plants, bottlers, and Distribution Centres to ensure flawless supply execution for PepsiCo. Responsibilities

1. Obsolescence Reviews:
o Lead monthly obsolescence (reserves) review for all divisions supplied from Cork (PI, PCNA, QTG, FFP, Gamesa, and Doehler).
o Compile monthly reports, analyze risk, and identify mitigating actions.
o Coordinate with other departments and teams to ensure mitigating actions are completed and risks are avoided.
o Lead cross-functional monthly meetings with senior stakeholders on risk movements and align with Global controls and Finance on correct monthly booking.
o Monitor and track reserves to the budget issued at the start of the year.
o Ensure control documentation is maintained correctly (SOX control) and meet with external auditors as required.
o Complete obsolescence reviews on all reformulations and discontinuations.
o Ensure clear processes are in place for cross-charging utilizing the new Power BI tools.
o Track and trace cross-charge risks to prevent duplications and ensure mitigations are captured.
o Identify opportunities to streamline and strengthen the process.
o Apply analytical skills for root cause analysis.
o Develop Power BI reports for monthly reserves connect.
o Work closely with Support Centre and manager on reserves-based initiatives.
2. Disposals Process:
o Coordinate and improve inventory disposals process.
o Run comprehensive disposals reports, compiling data from multiple input files to generate a supply chain waste disposal file.
o Coordinate with departments and external warehouses to ensure accuracy.
o Manage waste contractor relationships to ensure timely closure of disposal lists.
o Drive process improvements based on stakeholder feedback to efficiently remove aged inventory from Cork sites.
o Manage ad hoc disposal requests outside normal processes.
o Communicate issues or delays to management.
o Issue monthly communications to senior stakeholders and develop a disposals dashboard using Power BI.
o Monitor and track waste disposal budgets.
3. Aged Disposal Control:
o Run and review monthly aged disposal reports.
o Provide comprehensive reviews of aged disposals with inputs from other teams, e.g., quality.
o Identify new items for disposal listings.
4. General:
o Support the Inventory Manager.
o Participate in core reserves projects.
o Assist in developing reserves reduction strategies.
o Ensure compliance with GCS, SOX, and AIBI standards.
5. Control and Compliance:
o Maintain GCS documentation and ensure full compliance.
o Complete SOX and GCS audits as required.


Qualifications

* Experience with SAP, MS Excel, Macros, Power BI, Analysis for Office.
* Strong supply chain experience in a multinational organization (desirable).
* Excellent MRP and analytical skills, with problem-solving ability.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple complex tasks.
* Results-oriented with a commitment to objectives.
* Proactive with good initiative.
* Customer-focused mindset.
* Third-level qualification in Supply Chain or related discipline.
* Excellent numerical skills are an advantage.

Note: Internally, this role is titled SC Plng Asst Analyst. External advertising calls it Supply Planning Analyst.
